Overseas gigs with Sean Meo
Mini tour
I was approached to do two dates in Europe with veteran comic Sean Meo: one of the strangest and most intriguing people I've ever met. Nice too, in his own, weird way.

We got flown out to Vienna for a gig, then took the train the next day to Budapest for another gig at The Brody Club, a members' club with ties to The Groucho Club, The Club at The Ivy and The South Kensington Club, amongst others.
A few perks
I can't say the gigs were particularly great, but it was an incredible experience and as well as getting paid to perform, they also picked up the tab for travel and accommodation and threw in a year's membership to The Brody Club and all their international affiliates.
Stories from the road
One of the perks of stand-up is the chance to meet other comics, who are some of the most diverse and interesting people you could wish to meet, with a very eclectic collection of stories. And I certainly got that from Sean, who's travelled the world doing stand-up, although I probably wouldn't want to repeat many of them!
