My first gig in front of a paying audience.

My first proper gig

This was at East Meets Jest at Belushi's, Covent Garden on 26th April 2011. I was really surprised at how small the room was. There were probably around ten acts and another ten people in the room. On the plus side, the compere was great, but the room was too well lit. It would have been nicer for the audience to have been in the dark with a spotlight on the mic.

My turn

I was first up which I wish I wasn’t, but it went okay; probably a little worse than at The George though. My 'Top trumps' routine went well, but it was clear that the bit before needed some editing.
